New drugs approved in 2007

This article briefly reviews the new drug entities approved by the Food and Drug Administration in 2007: aliskiren, ambrisentan, armodafinil, doripenem, eculizumab, histrelin, lanreotide, levocetirizine, lisdexamfetamine, methoxy polyethylene glycol-epoetin beta (Mircera), nebivolol, retapamulin, rotigotine, and sapropterin, as well as new antiviral therapy and chemotherapeutic agents.
