| Pericardial heart disease: its morphologic features and its causes William Clifford Roberts, MD Clinically, pericardial heart disease is one of the more infrequent types of cardiac diseases, but morphologically, it is common. Nevertheless, many publications have appeared on clinical aspects of pericardial disease and surprisingly few have focused on its morphologic features. This report focuses on morphologic features of pericardial heart disease.
