Making Baylor Health Care System special

If special is difficult to recognize and difficult to measure and difficult to maintain, how do we expect to make Baylor Health Care Sysyem a special place to work? That question is at the top of our agenda, not just for today but also on a continuing basis. Let me provide a context for our discussion by offering my suggestions on what it will take to make Baylor special. (BUMC Proceedings 2002;15:23-25)
