Shipping Information
- The IMD recommends using trackable couriers.
- Complete the information requested on the screening card and the informed consent form (found on the back of the glassine envelope).
- Use indelible ink or gummed labels to label samples.
- Supplemental Newborn Screening samples are considered biohazard materials and must be shipped accordingly to federal regulations. Please place the dried screening card inside the glassine envelope and place the glassine envelope inside the prepaid US Mail envelope or another specimen transport bag for shipment. Please contact Quality Management at 214-820-4102 for questions about shipping.
- No Saturday deliveries will be accepted.
