Biostatistics
The Biostatistics Group provides support to researchers across Baylor Health Care System (BHCS). Biostatisticians are experienced in a range of biomedical investigations, including basic scientific, clinical/translational, and health services research. Statisticians provide support in experimental design (including power and sample size analyses), formulation of research hypotheses into quantitative terms, provision of randomization schedules and bias controlling logistics (eg, blinding), statistical analyses of data, and presentation and interpretation of results. They also offer their quantitative expertise in support of efforts to improve operational processes across BHCS. Meet Our Statisticians Edward B.
