Best Care Physician Leadership
Since 2005, Baylor Health Care System leaders have been working to define and implement an operational model to engage system-wide and local Best Care Physician Champions in process improvement efforts. These physician champions represent a range of specialties, including obstetrics, cardiology, patient safety, clinical preventive services, in-hospital care, surgery, and geriatrics. They provide motivation, encouragement, and medical and process expertise to collaboratively design solutions to address challenges to quality improvement.
