Health Care Research
. Clinical Scholars
The IHCRI engages Clinical Scholars, who provide clinical care across BHCS and pursue research on health care quality and effectiveness. Research projects are funded through National Institutes of Health/Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, private-sector research grants, and generous philanthropic benefactors.

. Health Care Analysis and Research
The Center for Health Care Analysis and Research features in-house biostatisticians and data analysts, epidemiologists, health economists and policy analysts, medical writers, health services researchers, health equity researchers, and research project managers. Together, they participate in the design, proposal, and publication of clinically important research.

. Health Equity Research
The Health Equity Research program seeks to identify and alleviate inequities in health care across all dimensions, including race, ethnicity, gender, age, socioeconomic status, geographic location, and disability.

Health Care Improvement
. Center for Health Care Improvement
The Center for Health Care Improvement implements and oversees health care improvement strategies including education programs, measurement of evidence-based processes of care, and collaboration with other organizations focused on quality improvement through operational change and research.
