Research Interests
My research focuses on genome research of immunology as well as development of methodology of high-throughput data analysis.
- Development of new technology based on Next-Generation Sequencing
- Study the genomic and transcriptomic variation associated with autoimmune disease, immune response, cancer vaccine
- Development of robust tools for extensive analyses of high-dimensional data from Next-Generation Sequencing
- Develop statistical model of genome analysis
Major Contributions to Science
Involvement of ENCODE project. ENCODE is international collaboration of research funded by National Human Genome Research. The goal is to build a comprehensive parts list of functional elements in human genome.

Involvement of ModENCODE project. ModENCODE project shares the same goal as ENCODE of identification of functional elements. It focuses on two major model organisms, C. elegans and D. melanogaster.
