Research Interests

 

My work focuses on immunology-centered genomics and development of methodologies for high-throughput data analysis.

 

  • Development of an in-house single-cell RNA-seq facility at BIIR
  • Development of robust tools for extensive analyses of high-dimensional data from single-cell RNAseq
  • Development of novel NGS-based new diagnostics
  • Development of B cell repertoire-seq protocol and analysis pipeline
  • Study of B cell/T cell development using repertoire-seq technology and a mouse vaccination model
  • Study of myeloma heterogeneity using single-cell RNA-seq technique

 

Major Contributions to Science

 

Involvement of ENCODE project. ENCODE is international collaboration of research funded by National Human Genome Research.  The goal is to build a comprehensive parts list of functional elements in human genome.
