Public Health Framework for the Research at Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation
Our research at Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation adopts a public health focus in that we aim to help the patient’s we directly serve - but also have an impact on clinical practice at a population level by identifying and disseminating evidence-based practice.
Current Research
There are currently over 35 research projects involving clinicians ongoing across the continuum of care from the NICU to outpatient rehabilitation at Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation. In addition, Baylor is a designated Traumatic Brain Injury Model System supported through the National Institute for Disability and Rehabilitation Research.
Research Office
The Research Office at Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation is directed by Simon Driver, PhD and supported by Cindy Dunklin (Research Coordinator), Librada Callender (Research Coordinator), Anne Woolsey (Research Coordinator), and Megan Reynolds (Research Coordinator). The Research Office provides supported to investigators across the continuum of care.
