Baylor Research Institute (BRI) is leading the charge for bringing innovative treatments from the laboratory workbench to the patient’s bedside. By bringing the latest in research directly to the patient, BRI is able to improve the care and wellbeing of our community. BRI promotes research in the areas of immunology and its clinical indications, autoimmune diseases, rheumatology, and dermatology as well as transplantation, metabolic diseases, cardiovascular disease, infectious diseases and oncology.

Established in 1984 in Dallas, Texas, Baylor Research Institute (BRI) promotes and supports research to bring innovative treatments from the laboratory workbench to the patient bedside. To achieve this bench-to-bedside concept, the institute focuses on basic science, clinical trials, healthcare effectiveness and quality of care research.

Dedicated to patient care, award-winning scientists and medical professionals at BRI work to understand the origin of a disease, identify potential treatments or preventative therapies, and enroll patients in research trials. Today, BRI is conducting 800 active research protocols with 250 research investigators, spanning more than 20 medical specialties, and has research frequently reported in major scientific publications as well as at national and international medical meetings.
