Center for Clinical Innovation

The Center for Clinical Innovation develops and uses innovative research and analytic methods to study and improve health care quality and patient safety throughout Baylor Health Care System (BHCS). The robust evaluation of quality initiatives and the dissemination of these initiatives are primary goals.

Under the leadership of Andrew Masica, MD, MSCI, Vice President of Clinical Innovation, health services researchers and medical writers support the design, conduct, and publication of health care research aimed at improving health care quality in accordance with the STEEEP domains of care. They assist in study development and design, prepare federal and private grant proposals, provide project management, collaborate in statistical analyses, and assist in the development of manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.
