Residents in Baylor Family Medicine Residency at Garland program are required to present one scholarly activity during spring of the senior year. Residents are not limited to only one research project and several opt for additional research experience. Residents also attend monthly research committee meetings and receive didactic instruction on research design and methodology, statistics and manuscript/presentation preparation. Residents receive guidance from faculty on the medical staff at Baylor throughout the course of their project. Residents also present and participate in journal club on a monthly basis.
