Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship

 

The Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship program at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas is an American College of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-accredited three-year program that accepts two Fellows annually. It is a new fellowship program to Baylor Dallas and is a part of Baylor Dallas’ renowned critical care department.

 

The fellowship prepares physicians to practice the subspecialties of pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine in complex environments with competency, professionalism and the highest ethical standards. Graduating Fellows are expected to achieve dual board certification in pulmonary and critical care medicine.

 

The outpatient clinical program exposes Fellows to an assortment of pulmonary conditions including:

  • Airway pathology
  • Vascular issues
  • Interstitial lung disease
  • Sleep medicine

 

The inpatient pulmonary service is active and offers advanced bronchoscopy opportunities.
