Dr. Peter Dysert 

Peter A. Dysert, MD

Pathology Program Director

Chief of Pathology

 

Dr. Dysert is the Chief of Pathology and Program Director for the Pathology Residency and Surgical Pathology Fellowship. Dr. Dysert is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He attended the University of Oklahoma Medical School and served his residency at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.

Dr. Amanda Profit

Amanda Profit, MD

Associate Program Director

 

Dr. Profit is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. She also completed a Fellowship in Surgical Pathology and a Fellowship in Molecular Genetic Pathology, both at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. Areas of special interest include Breast Pathology, GI Pathology, Head and Neck Pathology and Molecular Pathology. 

 

Dr. Karen Pinto

Karen R. Pinto, MD

Chief of Surgical Pathology, Baylor Dallas

 

Dr. Pinto is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology, with a special interest in Gynecologic Pathology. She attended Goa Medical College, served residency at New York Medical College and a fellowship in Obstetrical, Gynecological, and Perinatal Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Magee Women’s Hospital.

 

Dr. Carol Adair

Carol F. Adair, MD

 

Dr. Adair is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. Her area of special interest is Endocrine Pathology. Dr. Adair attended Wake Forest Medical School and served her residency at the Medical College of Virginia.

 

Dr. William Herlihy

William G. Herlihy. MD

 

Dr. Herlihy is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, with special interests in Breast, Lung, and Transplant Pathology. He earned is M.D. from Oklahoma University School of Medicine and served his residency at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, which is now his primary location.

 

Dr. G. Jackson Snipes

G. Jackson Snipes, MD, PhD

 

Dr. Snipes is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Neuropathology with special interests in Neuromuscular and Molecular Pathology. He attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Stanford University. He completed a fellowship in Neuropathology at Stanford University and earned his PhD in Anatomy and Cell Biology at Vanderbilt University Graduate School. He has received a patent for the discovery of a hereditary neuropathy disease gene. Dr. Snipes is the author of over 50 peer-reviewed papers. Dr. Snipes also serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Neuropathology and Experimental Neurology and the Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

 

Metin Punar

Metin Punar, MD

 

Dr. Punar is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with a special interest in Microbiology. He attended Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and completed his residency at Albany Medical Center. He also had a fellowship in Surgical Pathology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Punar works primarily from Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas.

 

Dr. Stacia Clement-Kruzel

Stacia Clement-Kruzel, MD

 

Dr. Clement-Kruzel is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology as well as Cytopathology, with special interests in Cytopathology, Gynecologic Pathology, and Genitourinary Pathology. She attended The University of Texas at Houston Medical School for both medical school and residency. She also completed fellowships in both Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

 

Dr. He Huang

He Huang, MD

 

Dr. He Huang is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, with special interests in surgical pathology and genitourinary pathology. She attended medical school at Peking Union Medical College and also earned her PhD degree in experimental medicine at McGill University. She completed her pathology residency at University at Buffalo, surgical pathology and genitourinary pathology fellowships at University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center.  

 

Dr. Meghan Koch

Meghan Koch, DO

 

Dr. Koch is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. She received her medical degree from Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. She completed a Cytopathology Fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

 

Dr. James Mitchell

James Mitchell, MD

 

Dr. Mitchell is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and received his medical degree from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He completed Fellowships in Surgical Pathology and GI & Liver Pathology, both at Columbia University Medical Center in New York, NY.

 

Dr. Mauricio Salicru

Mauricio Salicru, MD

 

Dr. Salicru is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He received his medical degree from MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Texas, in Houston, Texas. He completed a fellowship in Surgical Pathology at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas, and a fellowship in Gastrointestinal Pathology at Miraca Life Sciences in Irving, Texas. His area of special interest includes Gastrointestinal Pathology.

 

Dr. Atin Agarwal

Atin Agarwal, MD

 

Dr. Atin Agarwal is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He attended his medical school in India and completed his residency from Baylor Medical College, Houston. He did his Gastrointestinal and Liver Pathology fellowship from MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston. He has special interests in Gastrointestinal Pathology, and Bone and Soft tissue Pathology.

 

Dr. David Watkins

David L. Watkins, MD

 

Dr. Watkins is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and holds special interests in Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology and Liver Pathology. He attended University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed his residency at North Carolina Memorial Hospital. He served a fellowship in Surgical Pathology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

 

Dr. Haiying Zhang

Haiying Zhang, MD

 

Dr. Haiying Zhang is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and Cytopathology, with special interests in special interests in Cytopathology and pulmonary pathology. He attended Shanghai Second Medical University, served AP/CP residency at University of Arizona and Cytopathology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center.

 

Dr. Wei Zhang

Wei Zhang, MD

 

Dr. Wei Zhang is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Cytopathology. His area of special interest is Cytopathology and GYN pathology. Dr. Zhang attended Binzhou Medical College and served his residency and cytopathology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
