Fellows in Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas’ Anesthesia for Major Transplantation program receive one-on-one instruction on anesthetic techniques for patients undergoing liver, heart and lung transplants and multi-organ transplants.

Upon completion, Fellows will be able to plan and implement anesthesia techniques for patients undergoing transplant surgery and monitor these high-risk patients. The training emphasizes the full range of anesthesia techniques and monitoring modalities that optimize perioperative care.

Baylor University Medical Center Fellows also serve as vital members of the organ bank harvest team, providing informed management of donors throughout the region.
