Baylor offers a selection of medical plan options, so that you can select the coverage that suits you best. For your convenience, we also offer an employee health clinic and child care services.
Blood Bank
Residents can participate in the Baylor Blood Club by making one donation of medically acceptable blood annually. Membership entitles the member and family members to receive unlimited blood credits for one full year. The number of blood credits received is not dependent on the number of blood credits donated.
Chaplaincy Services
Free personal and marriage counseling services are available for residents and their families.
Childcare
Discounts are available for hospital employees to several local Child Care Facilities.
Counseling Services
Residents are provided access to appropriate and confidential counseling and medical and psychological support services.
Employee Health Clinic
Services offered in the Employee Health Clinic include vaccinations for influenza and PPD, treatment after exposure to a communicable disease, and treatment and referral for on-duty injuries or illnesses.

Health Insurance
The Baylor Medical Care Plans allow residents to select medical coverage based on individual and family needs. The amount you pay depends on whether you choose PPO or HMO group medical insurance.
Dental
The Baylor Dental Plans allow residents to select coverage based on individual or family needs.
Retirement Annuity
Residents can participate in the Baylor Health Care System retirement plan.
Reimbursement Accounts (Child/Elder Care and Health Care)
This benefit allows a resident to pay for eligible dependent care expenses with tax-free money from his or her paycheck. However, IRS rules do not allow using the account as savings. Deposits for expenses incurred on or before December 31 must be used or unclaimed money in the accounts is forfeited.
