From its simple beginning in 1903 as a small house with 25 patient beds, Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas now includes five connecting hospitals: Karl and Esther Hoblitzelle Memorial Hospital, George W. Truett Memorial Hospital, Carr P. Collins Hospital, Erik and Margaret Jonsson Medical and Surgical Hospital, and A. Webb Roberts Hospital.

As the flagship of the Baylor Health Care System, BUMC is affiliated with eleven other Baylor Health Care System owned/leased hospitals. These hospitals, located throughout North Texas, include:

  · Baylor Medical Center at Southwest Fort Worth
