Professional Information
The Baylor University Medical Center Radiologic Sciences Program fuses classroom and clinical experiences together to ensure students receive the knowledge and skills necessary to enter the workplace as an entry-level radiographer. However, it is the intent of the program to encourage the student to commit to life-long learning as well as involvement with the professional organizations that serve the Imaging Sciences.

The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) is the national organization for radiographers. You can learn more about this organization by accessing their website at www.asrt.org.

The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is the organization that administers the national certification examination and awards the graduate their credentials upon passing the certification examination.
