Selection Criteria
The Program reviews each completed application and selects the best qualified applicants annually. It is imperative that applicants meet all admission requirements and deadline dates.
Upon receipt of each application packet, the Program will initiate the investigative background check for the applicant. Any negative findings will be forwarded to the Baylor Health Care System Human Resources for review. Applicants will be notified immediately if they did not pass the investigative background check. The Program will return the investigative background report along with the application to the applicant.
Students are selected on a point system. Each applicant will receive points for their pre-requisite grades, healthcare experience, statements of recommendation, personal narrative and interview.
When making decisions related to applicants, the Selection Committee adheres to a policy of non-discrimination on the basis of age, creed, color, physical challenges, gender, marital status, national origin, religion or race.

The Radiologic Sciences Program may accept students transferring from other Radiologic Sciences Programs provided there is availability in the class and the transfer student's didactic and clinical experiences are aligned with the class he/she would be transferring into.
