Financial Assistance

Financial assistance is available through Texas Woman’s University. Six hours graduate credit is required each semester for financial assistance. For more information on Texas Woman's University, please write:

Scholarships
 

Interns will have an opportunity to apply for the Boone Powell Sr., Scholarship at the end of the internship. In addition to the aforementioned scholarship, others are available through ADA or the intern's state dietetic association.


Estimated Expenses*

·Affiliate ADA membership $43
·Internship fee (books, thermometer,
copying, office supplies, etc.)		 $1500
·Uniforms/lab coats $50
·Apartment housing
(15 min. from campus)		 Approx. $500-$700/month
·Internship Application fee - non-refundable $50
·Registration Exam for dietitians (following completion of the program) $125
·Meals (1 meal/day provided 5 days/wk.) $10/day (2 meals)
·Graduate credits-6 hrs. (optional) Approx. $1,600 in-state/
$3,000 out of state
