| Thank you for your interest in the Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas Radiology Residency. We provide unparalleled training in the practice of clinical radiology in a warm and friendly environment. Our busy department performs over 475,000 exams per year in all areas of diagnostic imaging.. We have 53 diagnostic radiologists on staff with subspecialty representation in all areas, as well as 28 residents and 9 fellowship positions. The Radiology residency includes five categorical and two advanced positions offered through the match each year.
A true distinction in our program is the quality and quantity of clinical material that each radiology resident encounters during training. As one of the busiest transplant centers in the country, our residents are also given experience in all aspects of transplant imaging, including PET-CT scanning, multiphase MR and CT imaging, and invasive and noninvasive vascular procedures. Combine this excellent clinical exposure with our friendly and cooperative relationship with referring clinicians, and the special nature of Baylor begins to be understood. All of our residents work side by side with staff radiologists throughout each day, which provides for unparalleled teaching. All of these factors contribute to the outstanding performances our residents have enjoyed on both the written and oral radiology boards examinations. Our residents are also active in clinical research and their research efforts have won accolades at national meetings.
