Curriculum
 
Curriculum Residents typically follow the schedule below over the course of the program:

First Year (blocks of 5 weeks)
Breast/Sono - 1 block
Internal Medicine - 1 block
Obstetrics - 4 blocks
Gynecology - 2 blocks
Ambulatory Gynecology - 1 block
Emergency Medicine - 1 block
OB/GYN - 2 weeks
Vacation - 3 weeks

Second Year (blocks of 5 weeks)
REI - 1 block
MFM - 1 block
Obstetrics - 4 blocks (night float system)
Gynecology - 2 blocks
GYN Oncology - 1 bock
Urogeriatrics - 1 block
Vacation - 3 weeks

Third Year (blocks of 5 weeks)
GYN Oncology - 1 block
MFM - 1 block
Urogynecology - 1 block
Gynecology – 4 blocks
Obstetrics – 2 blocks
REI – 1 block
OB/GYN 2 weeks

Fourth Year (blocks of 5 weeks)
GYN Oncology – 2 blocks

Baylor University Medical Center is a Christian based hospital, as such, training in elective termination of pregnancy is a procedure not offered in the curriculum.
