Marroquin and Kuo are part of the internal medicine residency program at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas. Each year, Baylor Dallas trains about 185 interns, residents and fellows in several medical specialties as part of the institution's commitment to medical education. At the conclusions of their residencies or fellowships, many young physicians stay in the area to set up private practice and serve the local population. Others take their Baylor medical education and skills to other communities in Texas and across the nation, supporting the larger medical community.
