Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas (BUMC), the flagship hospital of the Baylor Health Care System, is the sponsoring institution of the Radiology Allied Health School. BUMC celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2003, with the Radiologic Sciences Program being in existence since 1952. In 2002, the Nuclear Radiology Program accepted its first class of students. Throughout the school's existence, students have received outstanding academic and clinical education in an environment that supports technology, compassion, and reputation.
Radiology Allied Health School Mission Statement
The Radiology Allied Health School exists to develop skilled professionals through the combination of didactic and clinical experiences, addressing the requisite for competent radiology professionals.
We offer two full-time, hospital-based programs that fall under this school: Radiologic Sciences and Nuclear Medicine Technology. In their respective fields, they share a common goal: to develop skilled healthcare professionals who are capable, caring and knowledgeable.
