Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas
The Dietetic Internship Program at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas in Dallas, Texas, offers a 10-month training program with a Clinical/Nutrition Therapy Concentration Area for individuals who have met the academic requirements of the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). Since the graduation of the first class in 1955, the program has maintained accreditation status through ACEND. The Baylor Dallas Dietetic Internship Program accepts 12 dietetic interns each year. To apply, individuals must complete at least a bachelor's degree and ACEND accredited coursework requirements (Didactic Program in Dietetics). The program provides a minimum of 1,200 hours of supervised practice over the course of 10 months. Individuals completing the program who are verified by the program director are eligible to write the CDR registration examination for dietitians.

The program completed a successful site visit from ACEND in March of 2017. The ACEND board will meet in January of 2018 to complete the final approval step required for re-accreditation.
