In the summer of 1996, the medical oncology fellowship program was formally evaluated. The program director met with fellows who recently completed their training, as well as fellows currently in the program, to discuss the overall program and ask each of them for suggestions as to how the program might be improved.
The fellows’ input was instrumental in revising the curriculum and fellowship recruitment process. In addition, frequent feedback from fellows and faculty allow for ongoing evaluation and continued change in structure and function of the program.
Since the fellows play an integral role in the overall medical oncology program, their input is invaluable. |
