Duties and Responsibilities
 
Although fellows in this program work hard, they are rarely overworked.

Fellows take call at night from home; they rarely have to return to the hospital to admit new patients or handle an emergency. Fellows have two days off each week—even first-year fellows on busy rotations. Fellows take weekend call with the attending oncologists on their service every four to five weeks.
