Fellows are encouraged to participate in several regular conferences, which include an echocardiography conference, a comprehensive didactic lecture series, a cardiac catheterization conference, and a case presentation conference, as well as conferences in cardiac pathology, research, morbidity and mortality, and ECG interpretation.

The department covers the costs for one educational conference per year. Other conferences may be reimbursed if the fellow is presenting original research. Opportunities to cover cardiology practices are available.
