Body Imaging Fellowship
|
Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of an attending physician, our fellows participate in all functions of the Body Imaging Department and assume significant responsibilities for day-to-day patient care. Fellows share in after-hours and weekend call with supervising staff.
Each fellow must complete a pre-approved project by the completion of the year. Projects range from research studies and journal articles to scientific exhibits and presentations at major meetings to intradepartmental or interdepartmental projects. |

Supervision
Our supervising staff review all imaging examinations and after-hour and weekend call. The imaging staff supervises fellows in the following subspecialties: Ultrasound, Computed Tomography, Nuclear Medicine, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and High-Risk OB Ultrasound.

Fellow Evaluation
The program directors and teaching staff evaluate each fellow quarterly and discuss the results with the program directors and fellows.
