Program Information

Designed for individuals considering academic or private practice careers, the Body Imaging program includes pathology and research. Our fellows teach, conduct conferences, and perform day-to-day clinical work.

We tailor scheduled rotations to each fellow. Fellows divide their time among such subspecialties as MRI, sonography (including vascular, obstetrical, endoscopic, and intraoperative ultrasonography), neonatal and infant brain and spinal canal imaging, nuclear medicine, and CT.

In addition, we offer such elective choices as PET and body imaging at Sammons Cancer Center and outpatient imaging at TDIC-Junius, Mesquite, and Baylor Waxahachie. Your schedule will dictate the order of topics covered.

Research and Conferences

We encourage our fellows to present research at national meetings, and we provide funds to cover travel costs.

In addition, fellows assist with resident education and attend and participate in at least one of the biweekly multidisciplinary conferences, including G.I., G.U., Chest, Musculoskeletal, and Breast. Fellows also assist with resident conferences.
